Kari Shaw Akers (she/her/hers) is a Minnesota native who has been living in the Twin Cities for the past 25+ years. Before entering the world of real estate she garnered lots of experience surrounding property projects; from demos to the resale of homes to interior design, she has an eye for what works well together for many different styles of homes. After working in the project world, Kari decided to get into real estate as she wants to help you whether it is buying your new home, selling or both! Her customer service is top-notch and making connections is her true passion. Her knowledge of today's market and putting together custom listing plans are her major strengths. She understands the decision-making process from both a seller and buyer perspective and looks forward to making it a smooth transition for you, all while making sure you feel informed, comfortable, and supported.

Outside of work, Kari enjoys spending time with her husband and their two boys. She is also a singer in a local old-time country band, The Dollys. She is excited to meet you, get to know you, your family, and what dreams you have for your new home!
